Heritage Walk

Meeting at Central Square

Town Centre Heritage Walk

11:00 – 12:30

Setting off from the front of the new town square (or building site). Local historian Michael Gray PhD will lead a heritage walk around central Sowerby Bridge to highlight the fabulous industrial heritage with stops to discuss important points.

The walk is mostly on the flat, but some going uphill is necessary and will take 90 minutes, completing 12.30. Do bring clothing and footwear appropriate for a town walk.
