Artistic Performances

Throughout the afternoon artists Chemaine Cooke, Armelle Skatulski, Michael Powell and Turbynes will re-present the Heritage Interpretation commissions they produced for this years’ Glow Festival including installations, participatory activities and performances reflecting on Sowerby Bridge’s living legacy of everyday working creativity.
The Short Causeway Band

Formed by friends after a sweaty Trades Club gig, the trio bonded over the idea that they too could be in a band. Claudie plays guitar and sings, Hayden plays bass, and Rufus is on drums. New wave of college indie rock.

Skylark boat trips are based in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire in the canal basin. Available to hire for day or evening trips. Can sail up to 12 people. You can bring your own food and drink or we can provide. Trips will be from the canal basin, approximetely 45 minutes, from basin to Copley and back again.
